Comprehensive Birth Doula Support

We provide comprehensive birth doula services including:

  • Complimentary meet & greet with your doula and/or doula team (Learn more about our team model here.)

  • Prenatal visits & meet-ups, covering birth preferences and customized education (1-3 visits)

  • Text & email support throughout your pregnancy

  • 24/7 on-call doula support from 38 weeks through birth

  • Full labor & birth support (including labor at home, if needed)

  • Support in the first 1-2 hours after birth, including feeding support

  • A postpartum visit for connection & guidance within the first few weeks.

Our fee for doula services currently ranges from $1400 to $1600.

Each doula in our collective believes cost should not be a barrier to doula support. If the above fee is prohibitive, please reach out and a doula may be able to provide support for a lower fee or connect you with other services.

Cesarean Section (C-Section) Birth Doula Support

We provide comprehensive doula services for scheduled c-sections including:

  • Complimentary meet & greet with your doula and/or doula team

  • 1 prenatal visit, covering plans and preferences for your cesarean birth and recovery

  • Text & email support throughout your pregnancy

  • Pre-Cesarean hospital support, support during surgery & birth (if doula is permitted*), and continued support in recovery

  • Post-Cesarean support in the first several hours after birth, including feeding support

  • A postpartum visit for connection & guidance within the first few weeks.

Our fee for cesarean doula services is $1000.

*If a doula is your primary support person, they will be permitted in the OR at all hospitals locally. All of the Dogwood Collective Doulas are OR-trained, have attended cesarean births, and are able to support and attend cesarean/OR births at UNC hospital.

Personalized Childbirth Education & Birth Preferences

Our doulas can help your prepare and plan for labor, birth, and early postpartum through customized childbirth education and birth preferences discussion.

  • 30 minute meet and greet to discuss your specific birth and education goals

  • 4-6 hours (2-3 visits either in-person or virtual) of customized childbirth education & birth preferences planning.

    • Topcis can include: prenatal care options & birthing locations, the stages of labor, comfort measures, developing your birth preferences, evidence on interventions, ceasarean birth, preparing for an induction, advocacy, hands-on practice for labor, planning for postpartum, infant feeding/care and/or other topics you may be interested.

  • Text & email support throughout your pregnancy and early postpartum

  • Connection to local resources and guidance as needed

Our fee for customized childbirth education & birth planning is $400.

Preparing for an Induction

If your birth plan includes an induction of labor, we can assist you in feeling confident as your prepare for your labor induction, including discussion of standard induction protocols, your preferences and options, and induction length and timing.

  • 1 induction-specific education session, in-person (at your house or hospital) or virtually

    • Topics can include: Stages of labor, induction protocols and their evidence, comfort measures, induction and birth preferences, advocacy & ceasarean birth.

  • Connection to local resources and guidance as needed

Our fee for customized induction preparation and education is $200.

As a fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum health coach, Kelley Turlington offers individualized holistic education on food and nourishment, movement, and managing common pregnancy discomforts, while also providing emotional support, resource navigation, and preparation for postpartum life. Families working with her often feel less overwhelmed, more confident in their decisions, and better equipped for the transition into parenthood.

Kelley’s coaching style is client-led and rooted in partnership. She believes that every family’s journey to health is unique, and that small, consistent steps are the most effective path to lasting change. With compassionate guidance, she helps clients identify priorities, stay accountable, and make adjustments that support both physical and emotional well-being. Frequent check-ins provide ongoing encouragement and clarity, while her emphasis on trust and connection ensures that families feel heard, respected, and supported.

Above all, Kelley’s goal is to walk alongside families with warmth, evidence-based knowledge, and holistic care—helping them move through pregnancy and early parenthood with confidence and connection. 

Packages are available to suit a variety of needs and are flexible for each specific situation.

Kelley’s hourly rate is $50 for a 50 minute consultation.
