Body Ready Method
As a doulas, we recognize the benefits of moving our bodies in a way that helps us prepare for labor, birth, and postpartum. In the same way that we might train for a running race or a big athletic event, preparing for a strong pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum period can help us feel the best, achieve our goals and recover quicker postpartum.
Body Ready Method (BRM) is a prenatal-based movement program that is designed to help expectant, pregnant, and postpartum people feel their best and prepare for birth and beyond through functional exercise. It focuses on movement patterns throughout the day, to help build a strong core system and body foundation. BRM takes a whole body and may even help with pains or injuries from before pregnancy or postpartum.
The Body Ready Method program starts with an initial 90-120 minute movement assessment to help develop a personazlied plan, followed by additional one-hour sessions. Each session builds off the last and is customized for your unique body needs and goals. Learn more about Body Ready Method.

Baby and Me Yoga:
Join Elyse for a weekly Baby and Me yoga class at the Jewish for Good, Levin JCC in Durham. Class is held from 11:30-12:15 on Thursdays and is appropriate for all caregives and their babies aged 0-11 months. More info and pricing here.
